ATTRACTION TICKETS AND PASSES

Which ticket is the right one for you?

PASSES/TICKETS EXPLAINED

Firstly, call them tickets or passes, they are the same thing. We like to think of single day entries as tickets as they are taken from you on entry, but if you buy a multi-park ticket, you retain it after entry to the Park, therefore it becomes an entry pass!

We know that trying choosing the best passes/ticket is difficult - you have entered a minefield - if you don't understand what the different passes/tickets offer and how they work, how can you possibly decide on which one is the best deal for you and your family. Here we explain what they are and how they work:-

Single Park Tickets

These are quite simple - you choose which park you want to visit, be it a Disney Park or one of the other attractions such as Sea World or Universal Studios and you get that theme park for one solid day of fun - they are not the most cost effective way of visiting the parks, but if you decide that you don't want to spend too many days at theme parks, this may well be your best option.

DISNEY TICKETS

Disney Park Hopper Tickets

With these tickets you purchase the option to go from Park to Park during each day of your visit to Disney World. There are two options on these tickets, i.e. 4 days or 5 days. Either of these options allows unlimited admission to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom.

Disney Park Hopper Plus Tickets

The word 'plus' is the key to understanding these tickets. There are three options on these tickets, i.e. 5 days, 6 days or 7 days. They work in much the same way as the ordinary Disney Park Hopper Tickets for the number of days stated, but the option you get with the PLUS is extra single days at one of the following Disney attractions; Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, River County, Pleasure Island or the Wide World of Sports Complex. With the 5 day pass you will get 2 extra days, with the 6 day pass you will get 3 extra days and with the 7 day pass you will get 4 extra days.
Note: Your extra days are a one visit only, i.e. once you enter a Park/Attraction, your one day visit will end if you choose to leave and you cannot use that day of the ticket any more.

The extra advantage of buying a Disney Park Hopper Ticket is that unused days NEVER EXPIRE
and transportation between the parks is included

OTHER THEME PARKS

4 Park Flex Tickets

These tickets allow 14 days unlimited access to the four other major theme parks, i.e. Sea World, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Wet and Wild.

5 Park Flex Tickets

These tickets are virtually the same as the one described above, allowing 14 days unlimited access to Sea World, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Wet and Wild, but this ticket also includes Busch Gardens.

Universal Studios 1 Day 2 Park Ticket

This ticket allows you to visit both Universal Studios and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure during one day.

Universal Studios 2 Day 2 Park Ticket

This ticket allows you to visit both Universal Studios and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure during two days.

Universal Studios 3 Day 2 Park Ticket

This ticket allows you to visit both Universal Studios and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure during three days.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

All of the other attractions such as The Kennedy Space Centre and dinner shows like Medieval Times and Arabian Nights are purchased as single admission tickets.

SOME OTHER USEFUL TIPS

Child is age 3 years to 9 years
Some companies selling passes/tickets add sales tax to their prices, some include this - BEWARE!
Don't be too adventurous, the major theme parks cover vast areas and if you have never been before, allow at least a full day in each park to enjoy what it has to offer

GOOD LUCK!
